Sometimes, we can't help but overthink bcos we care. In my situation, best thing to do when I start to overthink is to think from the other person's perspective and to find out the reason behind the behaviour. And I always remind myself to never hate a person, just dislike the behaviour. Why bother watching something dark and stressful and affect your emotional feeling (exception to any good movie worth to watch). Movie, anime, etc is for entertainment.
